SEQUESTRATION OPTION

It is possible that the Debt Counselling process will not resolve your debt problem for various reasons. A Consumer can then consider alternative options of which Sequestration is one of them.

 

SEQUESTRATION PROCESS

An application - SEQ APP ENG.pdf - SEQ AANSOEK AFR.pdf - must be completed together with the required supporting documents. Upon receipt will we forward the application to one of our Partners who will administrate the process.

An application will be brought to court to declare the Consumer's estate insolvent. A Curator will be appointed to wind up the estate and distribute final payments to the Credit Providers.
